THE AREA
Aldeas de Taray is a complex situated beside the Mediterranean sea and approximately one hundred and fifty metres from the shallow warm waters of the Mar Menor Lagoon, which is ideal for swimming and a variety of watersport activities. There is a windsurfing school five hundred metres from the resort, situated on the Mar Menor, offering windsurfing classes and also jet-skis and water bikes for hire. The historical port of Cartagena is 50kms away, for those who enjoy sightseeing.
THE APARTMENTS
Aldeas de Taray also known as Club Calida Mar Menor, is a great complex that consists of almost four hundred apartments situated around beautiful garden areas and two swimming pools (closed in winter). opens( June until October). The complex has one restaurant which is only open during the summer months, however opposite the resort approximately three hundred metres away, there is a restaurant which is open all year round. The nearest golf course is 20kms away.

DIRECTIONS
By Air: Murcia ( 32km ) or Alicante ( 96km ). From Alicante take the CN332 to Cartagena. ( Be careful at St Javier to take Cartagena and not Murcia. ) On reaching El Algar you will see the signs for La Manga. Then follow La Manga signs. Ignore the sign for La Manga Club which is several miles outside La Manga. From Murcia Airport, take the left turn out of the airport and head towards Cartagena. At El Algar you will see the signs for La Manga, then follow the La Manga signs. After 7km from the start of La Manga you go over a small hill (the only hill on the road – Monte Blanco hill).
