THE AREA
The resort is located on 116 acres in North - Central Washington. There are many facilities available in Wapato, You can even hire bikes, paddleboats, canoes and sailboats. If you visit during the winter months, cross country, and downhill skiing are available at nearby Echo Valley. Or within an hours drive, is Mission Ridge with a vertical drop of 2,000 feet. Not exactly a household name, Lake Chelan is a secret that needs to be told. Though people from all over the rest of the state of Washington kind of hope they can keep it for themselves, word is slowly spreading that this is a pretty nice place to visit. Consistently ranked as one of the most pristine waters in the United States, the lake is 55 miles long and quite narrow through most of its length-- very much like a fiord. For most of its length it lies in a valley far deeper than the Grand Canyon. From the resort areas in Chelan and Manson at the foot of the lake, you will get little idea of the spectacular views offered just a few minutes away in the high country. Here the sky-blue water, orchards and rolling hills provide no clue of the granite cliffs and snow covered mountains that soar dramatically from the glacial green water Uplake.
THE APARTMENTS
All units are tastefully furnished to a high standard, all have air - conditioning, and feature a fireplace, colour TV and a VCR. The resort consists of 2 stories and does not have an elevator. The resort has VCR tapes for rent

DIRECTIONS
From the Airport take the 405N to 1-90E. Follow 1-90E (about 1 1/2 hours) until you see 97A, or the 97ALT depending on how dsplayed on signs, both are same road though. Keep on this road until you see signs for Hwy 150. Take this road and follow for 7 miles for Manson. Wapato Point is on the left, The nearest airportfor a commter flight is Pangborne field in Wenatchee which is 45 miles from the resort, From Pangborne Field, take highway 97A and follow the above directions to resort.
