THE AREA
A unique getaway in all the Pacific Northwest and Canada. The Resort is in the Mount Baker National Forest, surrounded on three sides, by the rushing north fork of the Nooksack River. At an elevation of only 1000 ft Snowater is an easily accessible, year-round resort. The Area operates 6 double chair lifts, 2 fixed quad chairs, and 2 rope tows. Mt. Baker has one of the highest Snow falls in the US. The season starts in November and ends the first of May. Snowater is situated on 20 wooded acres. You will find trails and foot paths to wander throughout. For the novice to the advanced climbers, Mt. Baker National Forest has trails for all. Breathtaking views and scenic splendor are in abundance. Depending on the snow pack hiking season can start in June and continue until the snow flies in October. For exciting summer (July & August) fun try rafting the white water of the Nooksack River. Experienced guides will take you on a trip you will remember.
THE APARTMENTS
You will be completely at home in your one or two bedroom townhouse condominium. Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a Jenn-air range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and Maytag dishwasher. DIRECTIONS
Take the Sunset Drive, Mt. Baker exit, #255. Head East for approximately 33 miles (55km), following the signs to the Mt. Baker ski area and the town of Glacier. Watch for the Snowater Entrance sign on the left about 1. 5 miles (2. 5 km) past the town of Glacier. The office is located beside the entrance gate a short distance from the road.
