THE AREA
This unhurried high-mountain paradise offers family adventures unequalled in the region! Winter find the area blanketed with 150-200 inches of natural snowfall annually and that spells snowplay. Two major downhill ski resorts, a multitude of ski touring centers, snow tubing, ice skating, and quality lodging spells family fun! Spring brings some of the best trout fishing in the east, spring gobblers, wildflower tours, hiking, biking, and golf! Escape the heat of Summer (2001 high temperature was only 84!) and enjoy a broad spectrum of activities in the National Forest with epic mountain bike trails or gentle and scenic rail/trails! Visit some of the east's wildest areas in two Federal Wilderness Areas or the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Your family can play in our State Parks with trails, golf, scenic lift rides, nature hikes, kids activities, swimming, and much more! Enjoy our quaint mountain towns and shop or browse in our many antique, gift, and specialty shops or enjoy some fairs and festivals. Around the Fourth of July, you can enjoy a free outdoor concert featuring the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra. Visit Blackwater Falls, West Virginia's most photographed site. Autumn brings Frontier Fest with Michael Martin Murphey, Leaf Peepers Festival full of outdoor activities for the whole family, the Appalachian Food and Craft Fair, all set in the blazing colors of our extensive hardwood forests!
THE APARTMENTS
Each unit has a fireplace, full kitchen with dishwasher, waste disposal, microwave oven and washer/dryer. Most units also have a whirlpool tub. All units have 2 bedrooms and sleep up to six people. They have 2 baths, 1 queen-size bed, either 2 twins or 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. Cots and roll-away beds can be reserved in advance. The Resort is on two floors and has no lifts. No pets are allowed.

DIRECTIONS
The nearest major airport is Pittsburgh which is 4 hours away or there is Elkins airport 30 miles away, which is a small local airport. From the airport, turn left on Country Club Road, turn left on Highway 250, turn right on Highway 33 and travel 24 miles to Harman, WV. Turn left on Highway 32N. Follow Highway 32N for 9 miles to the resort which is on the right side of the road. From Davis, WV take Highway 32 south for 9 miles to Kanaan Drive which leads to the resort entrance. The resort is on the left side of the road.
