THE AREA
The resort is situated on the edge of the Bavarian Forest and is an ideal base for touring all of the different areas in the region. Also a great place if you like sport, as during the summer months there is Hiking and sight seeing, then during the Winter months there are cross country skiing trails only a short distance away. Pets are allowed for a fee, please arrange this direct with the resort, as it must be arranged well in advance.
THE APARTMENTS
All of the units are furnished in a bavarian style. And all have fully equipped kitchens, All units are fully heated. Maid service is provided twice a week, extra service can be requested for a fee.

DIRECTIONS
From Munich Airport buses are available to the train station which is Straubing, only 15 km from the resort. Then by bus. The last bus mon-Fri is 18:00 and on Sunday 13:00. or cars can be hired directly from the airport. From the Airport exit at the sign for Straubing and take the B20 towards Mitterfels. If you are travelling from Nurnberg, you need to be onthe A3 heading towards Passau and then take the Mitterfels exit. The resort sign says Metro Ferienclub Mitterfels
