THE AREA

Lochanhully Woodland Club is truly a nature lovers paradise with it's own trout loch and seclusion provided by 35 acres of silver birchwood. From Lochanhully you can see the Cairngorm Mountains in the distance and the temperate Moray Firth coast is nearby. A short stroll or an even shorter drive brings you to the highland village of Carrbridge. Also nearby is Loch Garten with its unique 'hide" where you can watch the famous Osprey pair raise their young each spring. A little further away are the Cairngorm ski slopes, Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness and the sandy beaches at Nairn and Findhorn. In addition the Highland Whisky Trail starts almost on your doorstep! With forest trails, nature walks and the simple beauty of the surrounding countryside, Lochanhully provides a peaceful retreat.

 

THE APARTMENTS

The Scandinavian-style pine chalets offer you comfortable self-catering accommodation. The one bedroom accommodation has a double sofa bed in the living area. The two bedroom accommodation has one double bedroom and one with bunk beds, there is a double sofa bed in the living area. Full linen and towels are provided. To work up an appetite, or wind down after a day's walking, you can choose from a fully heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and solarium. Outdoors you'll find tennis courts, trout fishing in season and a dry ski slope. (In winter, there is snow skiing at nearby Aviemore). Dogs are welcome at this resort. Please note that the dry ski slope is closed for refurbishment until further notice (as at 06/02/02)

DIRECTIONS

By road take the A96 towards Inverness, join M9 southbound, signposted Perth, approximately 22 miles on. Exit at junction signposted Carrbridge. Take 1st turning on left before reaching the village on A938 towards Grantown on Spey. The resort is approximately ј mile along on the left hand side. By Train: To Aviemore or Carrbridge, please note that there are no taxis or telephones at Carrbridge Station
