The Forest Hills & Trossachs Club, Stirlingshire, Scotland

THE AREA

Sheltered by the scenic foothills of the Trossachs, and overlooking the tranquil shores of Loch Ard, it is easy to see why this part of Scotland is known as 'The Highlands in Miniature'. Forest Hills is set in 25 acres of carefully landscaped gardens and woodland Edinburgh is 1 hr 30 minutes and Glasgow is just one hour's drive away. Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle are even closer. On-site there is trout fishing and a leisure centre.

THE APARTMENTS

Excellent furnishings and fully equipped kitchens are standard - many apartments and lodges have their own sauna. Most are south facing with stunning views across the loch from their own private patios or balcony, with outdoor furniture. All are incredibly spacious. Outdoors there are tennis courts, putting and croquet. And during the season our lochside marina provides boating and windsurfing nearby. Back inside, the leisure centre includes a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, solarium, gymnasium and squash and badminton courts. A competition-size indoor curling rink converts for indoor bowling in the summer.
