THE AREA
Just 12 miles from the famous golf course of St Andrews, the beautiful tranquil resort of Kilconquhar can be found. Set in its own beautiful landscape setting, incorporating the luxurious villas in the grounds of what was originally the ancestral home of the Earls of Lindsay. The leisure facilities are superb, including indoor heated swimming pool, squash, solarium, and sauna. Outside you will find tennis, a putting green and full golf practice facilities, in preparation for the big game nearby at St Andrews! The children are well catered for also, with a full adventure play ground to keep them amused for hours on end. Also there is a BMX track. The estate has its own horse riding stables on site, for all of the family to enjoy. Kilconquhar Castle a romantic 12th century stately home, offers an attractive bar where you can sample some of the local specialities, and why not follow it with a fine meal in the Courtyard Restaurant, where all the cuisine is sumptuous to say the least. The resort offers you a welcome pack, and will also stock up your refrigerator with groceries in readiness for your arrival, should you require this service.
