Near to the smugglers' haunts of Soar Mill Cove and dramatic cliffs of Bolberry Down and Start Point which lead to the beautiful estuary town of Salcombe, Hope Barton Barns is the perfect holiday setting, whether you are looking for the family summer holiday, a weeks walking and nature spotting in Spring and Autumn, or simply a break away from it all to recover from Christmas! Nearby you are able to enjoy golf, horse riding, surfing, sailing, diving, fishing, scenic coastal walks, nature trails at Slapton Ley Reserve and, of course, moorland hikes on magnificent Dartmoor. Alternatively you can explore the historic towns of Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge with their cobbled streets, small shops and ancient buildings. In addition, this part of South Devon is blessed with an unusually mild climate, so mild that Salcombe has the largest Subtropical garden in mainland England!

DIRECTIONS
From the A381 Kingsbridge to Salcombe road, follow the signs to Hope Cove. In Outer Hope turn left over the headland to Inner Hope. Go past the sea, the old boathouse and the thatched cottages, and about 400 yards out of Inner Hope is Hope Barton Barns
